Where all things beautiful collide

I’m not going to lie, Valentine’s Day is not my favorite holiday, and I swear that’s not the single bitter me talking!  I guess I’m more into sweet random gestures and ways of saying you love and care for someone throughout the year, and not the pressure of saying it all on one day.  With that said, I do as always have plenty of ideas if you are so inclined to buy that someone special a gift.  I kept it simple with 14 ideas from just a handful of my favorite places, none of which completely break the bank, but offer super unique and chic gifts for anyone on your list.  Here they are!

1.  The opposite of red roses:  Find a bloom that’s unexpected, or more seasonal, or something like these magnolia branches that have been forced into an early spring just for your sweetheart.

2.  Not all hearts are cliché:  A simple paperweight with a hand-drawn heart is sweet, but not too cheeky.

7.  Paper Petals:  Another chic option for flowers that aren’t real, but are still chic.  I’ll never be a fan of most silk flowers, but ceramic and paper ones are an old school yet modern approach that make a lasting gift.
