Where all things beautiful collide

Two of my favorite people in the art and fashion worlds, and good friends, Andy Warhol and Roy Halston will be celebrated as the perfect creative duo in a new exhibit Halston and Warhol: Silver and Suede, May 18th-August 24th, at the Andy Warhol Museum.  The show will feature pieces ranging from Jacqueline Kennedy’s inaugural pillbox hat by Halston, as well as art pieces by Warhol of many of Roy’s muses, with letters written between the artist and fashion designer.  These two men definitely ruled NYC’s Studio 54 and the 70’s in general, which is probably my most inspirational decade.  Warhol is also by far one of my favorite artists, and I’ve always dreamed of bringing the Halston brand back to its peak of chic, Elsa Peretti and all!  Halston’s New York City home is also a dream pad of mine (filled with Warhol pieces, of course)  If you can, check this exhibit out, and report back to me!
